Senior Database Administrator

Part of a team that is responsible for the performance integrity and security of the database the role includes planning development and troubleshooting to ensure data remains consistent across the database data is clearly defined users access data concurrently in a form that suits their needs Also he will be responsible for data replication cross different sites and provision for data security and recovery control. 

1- Experience in managing Oracle RAC and Data Grand 

2- Experience in managing and Insulting MS SOL always available in group  

3- Experience in managing and Installing MySQL

4- Familiar with Linux OS

5- Excellent understanding and hands-on of 11g and Oncale RAC in a UNIX environment 

5- Working Experience and knowledge of Oracle RAC in the UNIX environment 

6- Working experience in and knowledge of Oracle Golden Gate is highly recommended

7- Scripting in UNIX and Linux 

8- Good knowledge of Oracle Security VPD etc. 

9- Good troubleshooting skills are required and the ability to handle the support and management of large-scale production system 

10- Sound knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery procedures

11- Sound knowledge of Oracle Database performance tuning 

12- Experience with Grid Control Performance tuning and diagnostic packs are highly desired  

13- Sound knowledge of Sun Solaris and Linux

14- Experience with Enterprise storage Management - Pillar Axiom 600 HP EVA 4000 is a plus 

15- Experience with Oracle Secure Backup monitoring daily backup schedules of tape libraries
