Full-Stack Developers

SUMMARY 

The Full Stack JavaScript developer must be able to work on projects with other team members to create solutions using JavaScript frameworks for our web-based platform. They will also need to be able to think logically, as well as be able to apply software design patterns and best practices to develop bespoke solutions to project requirements. In addition they will be responsible for working with and maintaining sensitive and confidential information relating to clients and projects.

The Full-Stack Developer will support departments and participate in projects as assigned by the Chief Technology Officer.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

•  You will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js. 
• You will also be responsible for testing and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase. 
• 
  
  Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.
• Troubleshooting software and debugging application code.
• Developing and implementing front-end and/or back-end code.
• Monitoring and improving application performance.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.

• Work alone or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality and secrecy towards handled information.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.

• 3 - 5 Years previous experience working as a JavaScript developer.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. 

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including hooks, contexts, and functional components.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.
